The gearbox is a basic transmission that is widely used in many industries. Its quality level and performance directly determine the level and performance of the supported host. The pair of gear meshing frequencies are related to the meshing shock and noise due to the relative sliding friction between the tooth flanks. Since the gear is the basic component of the gearbox drive, it is necessary to reduce gear noise to control the noise of the gearbox.


In general, the noise of the gear system is mainly caused by the following aspects:

1. Gear design. The reason may be: improper parameter selection, small overlap, improper shape or shape of the tooth profile, and the gearbox structure is unreasonable.

2. Gears and gearboxes. Assembly eccentricity, low contact accuracy, low shaft and bearing levels, low rotation accuracy, and improper backlash.

3. Input torque in other areas. Load torque ripple, shaft torsional vibration, balance of motor and other drive trains.
